Pantsed!!!

Yes, that's right....I was pantsed!!! I was standing in line at the Legacy Center when my sweet little innocent 2 yr old Tyce started getting rambunctious and hitting me on the butt. I turned around and scolded him and then realized it was my turn to pay the lady at the desk. Clearly Tyce was not getting the attention that he wanted because the next thing I know, he has grabbed the top of my work-out pants and pulled them down. Hello everyone in line and in the lobby....this is what my butt looks like. To make matters worse, as I screamed out at him and attempted to turn and free his grasp on my pants he held on even tighter, giving everyone on the other side of the lobby a peek as well. Later when I told my husband about it he joked about which underwear I could have been wearing. That might have been a factor had the underwear not come down as well. (Before this incident I was actually excited that my running pants were starting to get loose. Ha!)

Puke fest

Last night Tyce woke up because he had puked all over. After giving him a bath and changing all his bedding he was tucked in and went back to sleep. About 2 hours later, Talan woke up because he had puked all over. After getting him cleaned up and changing all of his bedding we all went back to sleep. A few hours later Talan woke again, this time with other issues that required that he wear a pull-up (despite his protests and my assurance that it wasn't his fault). Bedding changed again and everyone went back to bed. Morning came with Talan puking again (of course completely missing the perfectly laid out towel and garbage can next to his bed). Bedding changed, Talan bathed, carpet scrubbed and we are back in business. The boys have spent the morning watching movies and laying on the couch with fevers and tummy aches. Although cleaning up puke is the worst job ever, there is nothing more tender than holding, rocking and comforting my sick kids.

Justice Delivered

The other day as Talan was throwing a tantrum and being a grump, he decided to take it out on his little brother by hurling a plastic toy tiger at Tyce's head. Luckily it missed Tyce's head by a mere inch and hit the wall. Without blinking or missing a beat, Tyce looked down at the tiger, picked it up, and chucked it back, hitting Talan right in the middle of his face. Let's just say it was hard to suppress my laughter and be sympathetic to Talan as he wailed and screamed.
